What you should have read, but might have missed, last week.

Here’s what we’ve been paying attention to this week:

  • City Hall Newscoveredit.
  • The blog “lost in the Ozone” covered the endorsement.
  • As did Blog City.com.

  • And also wrote a piece about it for the Daily Politics.
  • And mentioned it again in a profile she did of Avella.
  • Capital Confidential picked up our endorsement in their morning roundup.
  • And it was written up on the NY State Dems blog.
  • A sex ed teacher on Staten Island received a settlement from the city, after suing them for reprimanding her for using slang in the classroom.
  • Planned Parenthood’s own Destiny Lopez has a post on AOL Latino on health care for immigrant women.
  • and there was an interesting piece on the Huffington Post on Latinas and the cost of birth control.
  • The FDA approved a new Emergency Contraceptive pill, Ella.
  • A new study came out showing a correlation between good grades and teens’ healthy relationships.
  • According to the NY Times, states are scrambling to keep up with the responsibilities placed on them by health care reform.
